Just loaded ubuntu on a Samsung chromebook. Good for off-line development perhaps, but the unit is much more response in chromebook mode. Managed to get dual boot working.
Chromebook is pretty useful if all you want to do is Youtube, Gmail, Gdocs, Gcalendar, and Angry Birds...oh and you have to have an internet connection or you're SOL. Don't waste your money. Get an ACER netbook for $249 at Costco instead.
