10-42 Cassette sounds pretty cool.
11 speeds sounds like 3 too many for this retro grouch. Special derailleur with crazy B adjustment for 42 teeth sounds cost prohibitive till it trickles dwon.
But 1XAnything = +1 for keeping front derailleur, extra chainrings, and left shifter pods out of the equation.
