The Fixed Gear Fad is Officially Over

Snipimage

What is a "Fixed-Speed" anyway?  I think it's a freewheel equipped bike that is trying to trick you into thinking it's fixed.  Walmart doesn't want to be liable for selling fixies, I'd bet.  Ooooo, look!  It has "calipur" brakes too.

  1. from the walmart page, this comment is money:"The main problem with bikes from wall-mart is that they come with junky components that break. This bike having a minimum of those parts is a good bike as far as bikes from wall mart go. Probably the best in fact. If you identify as hipster this is perfect for you. I personally rode this bike for 1 mile in a hipster parade, and then promptly threw it in a river for safe storage(aluminum frame doesn't corrode!)."
