Maybe shoulda followed YDT and W's lead and gone back to bed...NOT! Three hours sleep is plenty.
Met Baler at 5 at Landing with lights blazing. MagicShine on helmet
and freebie Performance Grand Opening Prize Wheel Cygolite 275 on the
handlebar. Both of us single and rigid. Pulled a clockwise loop.
This time my MagicShine died after only 25 minutes right as we crossed
Norris Lane on Morning Choice. Rode Cascade and Ridge with just the
handlebar light. If the Cygolite was helmet mount it'd be bright
enough but on the bar it was tough to see. By the time we got to
Rockburn Branch the sun was shining through the trees.
Observations: A few beady eyes shined back at on on Log Trail.
Trails are sooooooooooo dusty. Creeks are very low and the pipe that
always flows by the new wood bridge on Cascade is dry.
